Join KMFA Classical 89.5 for a delightful morning of music, food, and community at our next Acoustic Sunrise Brunch at The Urban Pour Social inside Hotel Indigo in Downtown Austin.
This month features a rare acoustic solo set by Austin’s own Daniel Fears. His music is a rich tapestry woven from gospel, hip hop, R&B, and classical roots. A classically trained vocalist and instrumentalist with degrees from The University of Texas and Yale, Fears defies genres and expectations. His latest project, Close to Home, brings lush melodies and heartfelt vocals to life with strings, voices, guitar, and piano—all captured unplugged and recorded live. Whether he’s performing sold-out shows with an 18-piece orchestra or scoring award-winning indie films like Route To Emancipation, Daniel brings depth, authenticity, and soul to every performance. Join us for an intimate, stripped-down morning where you can experience Daniel up close and personal, like never before.
